Hey Girlfriend
By now I am sure you have heard me talk about journaling and how it is a daily practice that is a non-negotiable for me.
I often get questions about what journaling is, how I use it and what benefits I have seen from it. So, I thought I would put in one place for my R&C fam explaining it all.
Journaling has changed my life in many ways & I hope it can change yours too.
It helps me get clear, aligned and of course, helps me to manifest my wildest desires.
Journaling is basically writing down your thoughts and emotions and helping you make sense of them all. You know I love listening to my intuition and journaling really helps me to tune into that.
Journaling can be anything from writing down your emotions, to getting clear on your goals, to writing down a day in your dream life.
I find journaling in the morning helps me clear my head and get focused on what I need to do to achieve my goals.
When you are journaling, I want you to sit in a quiet space, maybe with crystals or incense, whatever makes you feel at ease. I want you to find a book or a notepad that feels right and feels inspiring. I want you to find a pen that feels comfortable in your hand. And I want you to be open to just writing whatever comes to mind.
People often think there is a way they ‘should’ journal and there is something they ‘should’ be saying. GF, I want you to let go of that thought and just write whatever comes naturally to you, this is your practice and there is no right or wrong.
I want you to be intentional when you write, think about what it is you want, and really have that focus in your mind during the process. It helps you to be really clear about what it is you want and what you need to do to get there.
I want you to remember there are no strict rules or guidelines when it comes to journaling, it is very subjective, so you have the freedom to personalise it to suit your goals and needs.
But, I understand it can be a little overwhelming to just sit there and try to put pen to paper, that’s why I like to use journal prompts to help guide me through the process.
I have put together some prompts to help you get started. These prompts are just a few ways you can journal, and please by all means make it personal to you.
