In episode 90, I chat with Lisa Cox, who is an author, presenter, and disability advocate who empowers other women to live an authentically fearless life.
In our conversation, Lisa shares how her life changed when she had a brain hemorrhage at age 24. As a result, she lost one of her legs, her toes, her fingertips and some of her sight. Lisa tells us how she had to hit the restart button on so many areas of her life (from learning to brush her teeth to how to write again), and shares how she found her ‘fearless’. She also mentions the importance of starting out small, which is SO important as we often get caught up fixating on a big shiny goal at the finish line.
I hope you love this chat as much as I do!
